Services
IT services
Support that responds, systems that stay up, and security controls that are in place and working.
When this is the right fit
- IT is handled by whoever has time, on top of their actual role.
- You have outgrown a break-fix arrangement and want predictable coverage.
- A customer, insurer, or agency has sent a security questionnaire, and you cannot yet answer yes to everything on it.
- You are moving to or cleaning up Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
- You need an engineer for a project or a gap, by the hour, without replacing your current provider.
What managed IT includes
| Area | Included |
|---|---|
| Help desk and user support | Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 Eastern, by email and ticket, with remote assistance |
| Device management and patching | Workstations and laptops enrolled, patched, and inventoried |
| Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration | Accounts, licenses, mail, sharing, and security settings |
| Security baseline | Multi-factor authentication, endpoint protection, email filtering, backup verification |
| Network and firewall management | For organizations with an office network |
| Security awareness and questionnaire support | Policies, training, and the answers for customer and insurer questionnaires |
| Vulnerability scanning and remediation | Scheduled scans with tracked fixes |
Response. Tickets are acknowledged the same business day. Outages that stop people from working take priority. Specific response targets are written into each engagement agreement.
Extended coverage. If an engagement calls for after-hours or 24x7 coverage, we scope it with you and staff accordingly.
Pricing approach
Managed IT is priced per user per month, by the scope above and your user count. Project work is fixed price, or by the hour when the scope is open. We give a firm number after the assessment, and we explain what moves it.
How an engagement runs
- Assessment. Fixed scope, with a written findings report that is yours to keep either way.
- Onboarding. Inventory, documentation, monitoring, and the priority fixes from the assessment. This usually takes a few weeks.
- Steady state. Help desk, monitoring, patching, and a written monthly summary of tickets, changes, and open risks.
Engineers by the hour
For IT leads who need an engineer for a project or to cover a gap, without taking on another managed-service contract. We work alongside your existing provider.
- A named engineer for the duration. You approve any substitution.
- An hourly rate and a not-to-exceed ceiling in writing before the first hour is billed.
- A weekly timesheet with a one-paragraph summary and hours remaining against the ceiling.
- Work is remote by default, with on-site time in Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland by arrangement.
Typical uses: a Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace migration, a network refresh, or an endpoint rollout; security control implementation ahead of an assessment or a questionnaire deadline; covering a departed or absent IT person until the replacement starts; help desk or systems engineering support on a public-sector engagement.
Who does the work
A lead engineer you will have met before you sign, who stays on your account. Administrative access is named, logged, protected by multi-factor authentication, and removed the day an engagement ends.
Tell us what is not working.
Write to us. The person who would lead the work replies within one business day, by email, and we will not send a proposal unless you ask for one.
